The First Leg to Florida

Over 1,900 miles, 12 states, and over 30 hours of driving is what stands in front of my mom, dad, and me over the next 7 days. Our first stop was at my grandparent's farm in Maryland. It's one of the beautiful places you'll see. Maryland's diverse landscape includes magnificent mountains in the west; the historic National Road through Frederick and the Antietam Battlefield; and my favorite white sand beaches, nature preserves, and peaceful farmlands of the Eastern Shore.
